The Kowloon Shangri-La Lobby Lounge will host a two-night exclusive “Mid-Autumn Dessert Buffet” from 25 to 26 September 2026, in collaboration with the renowned Chaozhou brand “Chen Yi Hing Restaurant”, which has a history of over half a century. This event promises guests a 120-minute feast that combines traditional Chaozhou flavours with classic Hong Kong dessert culture.
Unlimited Chaozhou Cuisine and Hong Kong Desserts
Under the bright moonlight, guests can enjoy the stunning night views of Victoria Harbour while indulging in unlimited servings of authentic Chaozhou delicacies, nostalgic desserts, and freshly made sweets. Each guest can enjoy a rich selection of dishes for just HK$358*, available for two hours.
The buffet area features a variety of traditional Chaozhou cold dishes and special appetisers, including traditional chilled horse mackerel rice, braised duck tongues, braised squid, and Chaozhou oyster porridge, showcasing the most authentic Chaoshan culinary culture. Dessert lovers can also indulge their taste buds under the moonlight, with the dessert station offering unlimited servings of classic sweets such as sesame paste, tofu pudding, and chestnut sago pudding, adding a sweet touch to the late-night experience.
Made-to-Order Specialties
In addition to the buffet offerings, this event will also feature made-to-order dishes, allowing guests to enjoy warm, freshly prepared flavours. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, each table will receive a signature Chen Yi Hing platter, which includes braised goose and braised goose liver, showcasing the brand’s decades-long mastery of braising techniques.
A variety of made-to-order desserts will also be available, including freshly made ginger milk curd, taro paste with sweet potato, and crispy soup dumplings, providing guests with a heartwarming and satisfying moonlit experience.
