Martell announced on 9 September 2026 that it has partnered with the long-established herbal tea shop Gung Lee and the creative bar Quinary to launch a month-long ‘Martell Tea House’, aimed at reinterpreting ‘Hong Kong Flavours’. This collaboration combines traditional herbal tea culture with modern mixology, offering a unique drinking experience.

Features of the ‘Martell Tea House’

The ‘Martell Tea House’ will conclude on 8 October 2026, during which Gung Lee and Quinary will simultaneously don thematic decorations, allowing customers to experience the classic elements of Martell while retaining the original rustic charm. Quinary’s bar will reinterpret herbal tea culture with a Hong Kong sentiment, providing customers with a brand new drinking experience.

To celebrate the grand opening, Martell has specially invited local Hip Hop group 24Herbs members Brian and Ah Fei to join Quinary founder and bartender Antonio Lai in crafting two limited-edition cocktails — the Martell VSOP Twenty-Four Flavours Highball and the Martell VSOP Sugarcane Juice Highball.

Unique Flavours of the Signature Cocktails

The Martell VSOP Twenty-Four Flavours Highball is priced at HK$150. This cocktail combines Martell VSOP with Gung Lee’s Twenty-Four Flavours herbal tea and includes pieces of herbal jelly, offering a refreshing taste that is not overwhelming, leaving a lasting impression. Ah Fei noted that the combination of this cocktail perfectly embodies the spirit of the project, being both familiar and fresh.

The other cocktail, the Martell VSOP Sugarcane Juice Highball, is also priced at HK$150. This drink combines Gung Lee’s sugarcane water with Martell VSOP, blending the sweet sugarcane flavour with fruity aromas for a rich and refreshing experience.

Unique Art Installations and Activities

As part of the ‘Martell Tea House’, a themed mural created by local artist Poon Chung will become a popular photo spot, showcasing Martell’s golden swallow flying over sugarcane surrounding Victoria Harbour, symbolising the brand’s deep connection with Hong Kong.

Additionally, customers who enjoy two specified Martell cocktails at Quinary during the event will be eligible to participate in a lucky draw, with a chance to win limited-edition Martell merchandise, such as neon sign embroidered keychains and herbal tea flower tile socks.

Mid-Autumn Limited Edition Product

Martell has also launched a Hong Kong limited edition of Martell VSOP, with packaging design incorporating the Victoria Harbour skyline and city landmarks, suggested retail price is HK$618, available at major supermarkets and convenience stores. This product is not only suitable as a Mid-Autumn gift but also an ideal choice for presents.

In summary, the ‘Martell Tea House’ is not just an innovation in beverages but also a tribute to Hong Kong culture, inviting everyone to savour the stories that belong to Hong Kong.
