DCH ISUZU has recently launched a limited edition series of Hong Kong Spirit T-Shirts, aimed at paying tribute to the fighting spirit of the city. The designs for this series were created by local popular illustrator Mak Dong-ki and produced by the classic Hong Kong clothing brand Lee Kung Man, showcasing the unique charm of old Hong Kong.
Background of the Hong Kong Spirit T-Shirt Series
For many years, ISUZU has been traversing the streets of Hong Kong, accompanying the development of various industries. It is not just a commercial vehicle brand, but also a part of countless Hong Kong people’s stories of struggle. The classic advertising slogan “Confidence is ISUZU” has become synonymous with reliability and trust.
To continue this shared memory belonging to the people of Hong Kong, DCH ISUZU has specially launched this limited T-Shirt series. Mak Dong-ki, with his iconic hand-drawn style, depicts the warm scenes of old Hong Kong, blending elements of past street views, community life, and ISUZU commercial vehicles, recreating the collective memories of Hong Kong residents.
Special Line Art Design with Random Surprises
In addition to the standard coloured versions, ISUZU has also introduced a collectible special line art design. This design retains the original lines of the initial draft, illustrating scenes of old Hong Kong in pure white lines. These “line art special editions” are only available on black T-Shirts and will not be sold separately; they will be randomly mixed into the black T-Shirt products, with approximately a 10% chance of obtaining this limited version.
This limited T-Shirt series will be showcased in a time-limited exhibition at the Mong Kok ISUZU showroom, where the public can purchase them during specified hours. The exhibition dates are from 14 to 16 August 2026, with pre-sales starting at DCH Living from 7 August.
