New Town Plaza in Sha Tin will host the CHILL Bread Festival 2026 from 28 to 30 August 2026, marking the grand finale of the summer season. This event will span two levels and cover nearly 6,000 square feet, bringing together over 30 baking brands and offering more than 300 varieties of bread for baking enthusiasts to enjoy a carbohydrate extravaganza.
Highlights and Participating Brands
At this bread festival, popular bakeries such as 嘉多娜餅店 and Manteigaria will participate for the first time, introducing market-exclusive flavours that are sure to attract countless bread lovers. Three idol-level bakers from Taiwan will also be present to share their baking skills and insights.
Participating brands include:
- 嘉多娜餅店: Known for its French pudding bread, they will launch market-exclusive products such as pandan mochi buns.
- Manteigaria: A century-old brand from Portugal, offering authentic Portuguese egg tarts.
- 喜承烘焙: Focused on traditional Hong Kong-style pastries, adhering to a no-additives philosophy.
- 午夜麵包俱樂部: Famous for its handcrafted style and self-cultivated sourdough.
- 木子烘焙: Committed to artisan craftsmanship, producing uniquely textured sourdough bread.
Early Bird Offers and Event Details
The bread festival is free to enter, and participants can purchase an early bird pass for HK$98, enjoying benefits worth up to HK$340, including bread and beverage vouchers. The first 300 customers to purchase the pass will also receive a limited edition “Chill Stress Relief Bread Button Toy.” Additionally, participants can take photos at the venue and share them on social media to receive a limited edition bread-shaped keychain.
CHILL Bread Festival will take place at New Town Plaza Phase 1, Levels L1 and L3, from 12 PM to 9 PM, allowing every participant to fully enjoy this baking feast.
