Mue Mue has launched a limited-time pop-up dining concept, ‘Taste of Fortune’, in Tsim Sha Tsui, led by Chef Yip Chun Man, who has over 20 years of experience in Cantonese cuisine. This concept perfectly combines the essence of Chinese cuisine with Thai flavours. This dining experience not only showcases the essence of Chinese and Thai cooking but also interprets street food skewers from Thailand’s Chinatown into a lavish seafood feast.
A Culinary Journey of Chinese and Thai Fusion
The menu at ‘Taste of Fortune’ is based on the exquisite techniques of Chinese cuisine, combined with the unique spices and flavours of Thailand. Chef Yip Chun Man stated that the dishes incorporate the cooking techniques, wok hei, and knife skills of Chinese cuisine into Thai cooking, creating a rich and layered culinary experience. He emphasised that this fusion does not replace one another; rather, it complements and enhances the flavours and layers of Thai dishes.

The dishes at ‘Taste of Fortune’ include:
