The Italian bistro TABIÀ on Gough Street officially launched a new evening tasting menu on 12 October 2026, priced at HK$498 per person, which includes four exquisite dishes. This menu has been thoughtfully crafted by Italian chefs Roberto and Riccardo Trento, aiming to honour their family roots in the Dolomites while perfectly blending traditional recipes with seasonal Italian cuisine.

A Culinary Journey Through the Dolomites

This tasting menu is infused with deep emotion, showcasing the wonderful memories the two brothers share with their grandmother in the Alpine region. Each dish delicately captures the rugged beauty of the Dolomites, merging Italian traditions with the diverse cultures of the mountainous borders.

Roberto Trento stated, “We wanted to create a menu that evokes a sense of ‘home’.” Meanwhile, Riccardo Trento added, “By combining classic dishes with fresh seasonal inspirations, we share the story of our family heritage.”

Cultural Heritage on a Plate

The new four-course tasting menu invites guests to experience the rich flavours and aromas of Italy, skillfully balancing TABIÀ‘s signature dishes with fresh seasonal delights:

  • Starter: Guests can choose the heartwarming Zuppa di porri e patate leek and potato soup with smoked Italian bacon, or the crispy Vol-au-vent ai Funghi Italian pork cheek and wild mushroom puff pastry (+HK$48).
  • Handmade Pasta: The newly launched seasonal special Gnocchi di zucca roasted pumpkin gnocchi with pumpkin sauce, caramelised onions, and goat cheese, alongside Ragù di Anatra slow-cooked duck leg ragu with rigatoni.
  • Main Course: Guests can opt for the tender Dentice Scottato pan-seared snapper with creamy spinach or the succulent Capocollo alla griglia grilled pork neck with long beans, with the option to upgrade to the popular signature dish Manzo di Wagyu pan-seared Wagyu sirloin with broccoli sprouts (+HK$88).
  • Dessert: The newly introduced seasonal dessert Torta Bolzano traditional Alpine apple tart with vanilla ice cream (+HK$38), or the classic Tiramisu and Chocolate mousse.

TABIÀ features only 20 seats, creating a warm and tranquil atmosphere with light wood and rustic country elements, inviting guests to escape the city’s hustle and immerse themselves in the hospitality of the Alpine region.
