Wellcome is celebrating the first anniversary of its ‘Price Lock’ price commitment on 25 September 2026, announcing that it has helped residents across Hong Kong save HK$150 million over the past year. This initiative was launched to combat inflation and provide customers with more competitive prices.
Achievements of the ‘Price Lock’ Initiative
Since its launch in September last year, Wellcome’s ‘Price Lock’ initiative has successfully provided consumers with an average discount of 15%, covering groceries, fresh food, daily essentials, and popular products from Korea and Japan. Wellcome stated that this initiative has not only attracted consumers who love Korean pop culture but has also been favoured by family budgeters and fitness enthusiasts.

To celebrate the first anniversary of ‘Price Lock’, Wellcome has introduced up to 50 popular products from the UK, US, Korea, and Japan, with prices for 37 fresh food and grocery items remaining unchanged for over 12 months. These products include:

- Nongshim Korean Spicy Noodles 20-pack 120g
- Vitasoy Fresh Milk 1.5L
- Fresh Thai Large Eggs 10-pack
