Cafe de Coral officially launches its Mid-Autumn mooncake gift box on 1 September 2026, themed “Taste the New Moon, Enjoy the Heart’s Delight”, presenting a newly designed mooncake gift box. This time, they have collaborated with Sanrio to introduce a mooncake lantern set featuring the popular character Cinnamoroll, adding a sweet atmosphere to the Mid-Autumn Festival.
New Mooncake Lantern Set and Classic Flavours Return
The mooncake lantern set from Cafe de Coral features a light blue theme inspired by Cinnamoroll, with a cute design that includes six mini custard mooncakes. It can be transformed into a lantern by pressing a switch, adding a touch of brightness to the Mid-Autumn night. The mini custard mooncakes have a flaky outer layer and a rich custard filling, offering a sweet and delightful taste without being overly heavy.
In addition to the innovative design featuring Cinnamoroll, Cafe de Coral is also bringing back four classic flavours, including double yolk white lotus seed paste, double yolk lotus seed paste, double yolk dried tangerine peel red bean paste, and molten custard mooncakes. They have also introduced two new flavours: three yolk white lotus seed paste and yuen yang kumquat custard, providing customers with a diverse selection.

This year’s mooncake packaging design is based on traditional Mid-Autumn elements, combined with a modern elegant jewellery box design, featuring gold-foiled round moon and auspicious floral patterns, symbolising good wishes and health. All mooncake gift boxes are now available at various branches and on the eatCDC online platform.
