Nike has recently launched a brand new One Piece collaboration series, bringing the world of the famous anime “One Piece” into reality, offering inspiration to all who dare to adventure. This series includes not only footwear but also a variety of apparel, showcasing the cultural impact of “One Piece”.

Product Overview

This collaboration series features three different designs of the Nike Air Max Plus, as well as jerseys, T-shirts, caps, and vests inspired by the world of “One Piece”. Each product incorporates the spirit symbols of “One Piece”, allowing fans to experience the charm of the series in their daily lives.

Design Details

The shoes in the series are inspired by the legendary “Devil Fruits” from the “One Piece” story, reinterpreted into the design of Nike footwear. The apparel combines storyboards from the original manga and includes the Nike × “One Piece” collaboration logo, giving each product a sense of narrative.

Three Devil Fruits, Three Pairs of Air Max Plus

The inspiration for this collaboration series comes from the Devil Fruits in “One Piece” that grant extraordinary powers to those who consume them. Nick Remlinger, General Manager of Nike’s Gaming Collaboration Division, stated: “Our initial inspiration came from the superpowers released when characters eat the Devil Fruits, which is akin to the feeling athletes experience when wearing Nike shoes.”

  • Gomu Gomu no Mi (Rubber Fruit)
  • Mera Mera no Mi (Flame Fruit)
  • Ope Ope no Mi (Surgery Fruit)

These three fruits transform into the essence of three pairs of Air Max Plus, influencing every aspect of design and colour, making the footwear unique.
