Montblanc hosted a grand event at the Crane Club during New York Fashion Week on 8 September 2026, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the brand’s leather craftsmanship. The event attracted numerous celebrity guests, including Paul Anthony Kelly, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alexandra Daddario, as well as brand ambassadors Seo Kangjun and Mew Suppasit, transforming the venue, which showcases Art Deco style, into a vibrant extension of Montblanc’s creative world.

Immersive Experience and Multi-Sensory Journey

To the musical rhythms of Grammy Award winner Honey Dijon, guests embarked on an immersive journey for all five senses, experiencing the rich history of Montblanc leather goods at every turn. The event opened with a giant installation of the Writing Traveler briefcase, inspired by the classic ‘treasure chest’, combining the creator’s desk creativity with the long-standing craftsmanship of leather goods.

Personalisation and Creativity Combined

At the Montblanc Desk, guests were able to create their own personal imprint on a selection of small leather goods, a design personally crafted by the brand’s artistic director Marco Tomasetta. The event also featured a postcard area, inviting participants to slow down, pick up a pen, and turn the memories of this unforgettable night into written words to be sent out.

Montblanc’s leather goods history dates back to 1926, when the brand launched its first leather product: a case designed to protect writing instruments. Over the years, Montblanc has remained committed to accompanying creators on their exploratory journeys, continuously deepening the connection between the brand’s writing culture and leather design under the leadership of artistic director Marco Tomasetta.
