Anchor will host the third Hong Kong Pineapple Bun Day on 24 October 2026, partnering with 46 local tea restaurants to give away 4,600 free pineapple buns, allowing citizens to enjoy this classic Hong Kong delicacy.
Citywide Celebration, Free Pineapple Buns Await
The event will take place from 2 PM to 6 PM. Customers dining in at designated tea restaurants who spend HK$40 or more will receive a hot pineapple bun. The bun features a crispy exterior and a soft interior, filled with thick slices of Anchor fresh butter, offering a delightful contrast of temperatures with every bite.
Exciting Challenges with Rich Prizes to Win
To celebrate its 140th anniversary, Anchor will also host the “14-Second Chill Prize Game.” Participants only need to present a receipt for dine-in spending of HK$40 or more, like Anchor’s social media page, and share a reason for loving Anchor’s pineapple bun. After that, they can start the timer and aim to stop it precisely at 14 seconds for a chance to win various surprise prizes.
Additionally, from 20 to 23 October, Anchor will hold the “Pineapple Bun Chill Easy Lift” street challenge, where participants must lift a giant pineapple bun model weighing up to 5 kg. Successful participants will receive cash vouchers for tea restaurants.
This event not only celebrates Hong Kong’s food culture but also underscores Anchor’s commitment to promoting local traditional cuisine. For more details about the event, please keep an eye on Anchor’s social media updates.
