The focus of this collaboration is to reinterpret the classic Air Force 1, infusing it with j-hope’s Hobicore aesthetic. This shoe, created by Nigo and the Nike design team, showcases their shared pursuit of artistic creativity and design aesthetics.
Design Inspiration and Features
Nigo stated, “I believe j-hope is one of the few who can truly be a cultural ambassador, passing culture down to the next generation.” The shoe combines the nostalgic vibes of 1990s Tokyo with the flair of contemporary global superstars. It features a glossy dawn orange and bright gold leather upper, accented with chlor blue details, and the classic squirrel pattern, vividly showcasing j-hope’s vibrant personality.
j-hope also praised the shoe’s design, mentioning, “I really love the enamel texture and colours presented by Nigo; the overall combination is very harmonious. Plus, the special shoelace details that I rarely see further highlight the charm of this shoe.”

The Nike x Nigo x j-hope Air Force 1 will be exclusively launched on 17 October at humanmade.jp, and will be available globally on 22 October at SNKRS and selected retail stores.
