Hang Heung Bakery officially launches the “Hang Heung Mid-Autumn Festival • Mooncake Pop-Up” on 27 August 2026. This limited-time store will be open on Lee Tung Street in Wan Chai until 25 September, adding a festive atmosphere to the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Special Activities at the Pop-Up Store
To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Hang Heung Bakery has adopted the theme “A Century of Hang Heung, Always Here”, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity to present a range of classic and innovative mooncakes. The design of the pop-up store is inspired by “palace lanterns” and features a giant golden mooncake viewing area, allowing customers to take memorable photos. Additionally, there is an experience called “Hang Heung Future Mailbox”, where customers can write down their wishes and send them out a year later, conveying heartfelt sentiments.

The pop-up store offers a variety of popular mooncakes, including the classic double yolk white lotus seed paste mooncake, lava custard mooncake, and the upgraded “Mini Flaky Mooncake Series”. Furthermore, Hang Heung has launched the “Heart-Shaped Wife Mooncake” designed by brand creative officer Chilam, as well as the health-conscious “Wai Yuen Tong X Hang Heung Mooncake Gift Box” and the socially inclusive “Hang Heung x Wai Chi Love Mooncake”.
- Heart-Shaped Wife Mooncake: Designed in a romantic heart shape, filled with winter melon paste and salted egg yolk, featuring a crispy exterior and soft interior.
- Wai Yuen Tong X Hang Heung Mooncake Gift Box: Incorporating traditional Chinese medicine wellness concepts, containing various nourishing flower teas.
- Wai Chi x Hang Heung Love Mooncake: 50% of the proceeds from each box sold will be donated to support employment development for people with disabilities.
Additionally, customers who purchase mooncakes at the pop-up store for a specified amount will receive a Chilam Mid-Autumn limited edition flash card and other surprise gifts, making this Mid-Autumn Festival even more memorable.
